YB Development provides our clients build-to-suit leasing opportunities in the Southeast and has developed more than 55 properties, totaling over 540,000 square feet. Our portfolio includes uses ranging from medical, office and multi-tenant retail to industrial, banking and vacant land. Partnering with credit tenants, our property values range from $1 to $5 million.
We manage all facets of the development process because we are a developer, landlord, contractor for select projects and holding company—all in one firm. With 20 years of contracting and electrical experience, Bobby and his brother, Gary established YB Development in 1998. Robert oversees the day-to-day operations of the company and works directly with clients on development deals and property management. In 1995, Robert utilized his electrical contracting experience in the restaurant industry to start Power & Light Group, Inc., a national distributor of commercial lighting packages and bulbs. In 1983, he established Robert’s Electrical Contractors, Inc. and currently serves as President. This company focuses on electrical contracting for southeastern commercial development and medical facilities.
Robert holds Master Electrical Licenses in various states and sits on the Electrical Advisory Board for Southwest Technical College in Mobile, Alabama.
